Gary began his career in golf at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. He worked under Mr. Don Claypool, PGA Professional Jim Gehring and Mr. Jack Nicklaus. While there Pro Emeritus and former PGA Tour player Mr. Jack Grout was his instructor. From Muirfield Village he went to Royal Poincianna Golf Club in Naples, Florida and worked as their #1 Assistant Golf Professional. There he worked under PGA Professional Rick Warner and learned all about course management from his friend PGA Tour winner Curt Byrum now the lead analyst for The Golf Channel. Gary has now been in the golf business 38 years
